Illinois Concealed Carry Weapons Permit
Florida / Utah / 8 hrs Illinois CCW
Phase One
This course will provide an understanding for the law-abiding citizen’s right to self-defense. The participants will develop skills and attitudes essential for the safe and effective use of a handgun for the protection of self and family. Further, coverage will be provided on mental awareness, how to avoid victimization, and mindset development for use of a firearm when faced with a life threatening encounter. This course will review basic gun safety rules for guns in the home, travel and concealed carry. Also covered will be the responsibility of firearm ownership laws, how to legally travel with a firearm and the justified use of lethal force. Students will be required to participate in classroom and firearms range activities and demonstrate basic live-fire handgun proficiency.
An Illinois Firearms Owners ID card is recommended, but not required. This course assumes participant already has a basic understanding of firearms, firearm’s safety and possesses basic firearm’s use skill sets. However, even very novice shooters are more than welcome and even encouraged to attend. (No Firearms or ammunition allowed in the classroom)
Registration includes: Range fees, training firearms rental, ammunition, safety glasses, Florida and Utah non-resident permit-to carry application and bonus materials available additional fees apply.
This course is available to and encouraged for private/professional groups of 15 or more. Course facilitator would provide classroom facility suitable for the number of participants. Illinois Concealed Carry Weapons Permit
Phase Two
This course will provide an understanding of all the applicable Illinois State and Federal laws relating to the ownership, storage, carry, and transportation of a firearm; the Firearm Concealed Carry Act in its entirety, with emphasis on 430 ILCS 66/10(h) which includes instruction on the appropriate and lawful interaction with law enforcement while transporting or carrying a concealed firearm; and, an emphasis on 430 ILCS 66/65 which includes instruction on prohibited areas and the parking lot exception. The FOID Act 430 ILCS 65/1 et. seq. Portions of the ILCS including but not limited to Use of force in defense of a person; Use of force in defense of dwelling; Use of force in defense of other property; and, Unlawful Use of Weapons. Course participants will take part in weapon handling drills including but not limited to dry fire practice drills, handgun fundamentals, dry fire practice drills from concealment, Live fire practice drills, handgun fundamentals and a live fire qualification with a concealable firearm. In order to pass the range certification, the participant must successfully hit the silhouette portion of a B27 target with 70% of 30 rounds from 5 yards, 7 yards and 10 yards
This course meets the second part of Illinois Concealed Carry Curriculum Mandates.
Tuition for Option Two - One Day 8hr Course: $150.00 per student. Course size is limited, pre-registration $50.00 deposit or full payment can be made via paypal and guarantees attendance. Course fee does not include the permit fee.
Tuition for full 17 hour two day course phase one and two $150.00. This is an approved curriculum by the Illinois State Police and this course meets the first and second part of Illinois Concealed Carry Curriculum Mandates.

Tuition for full 17 hour two day course phase one and two $150.00. This is an approved curriculum by the Illinois State Police and this course meets the first and second part of Illinois Concealed Carry Curriculum Mandates.
Utah Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP)
The Utah CFP permit training class takes 4 hours. Firing of a firearm is not required to obtain the Non-Resident Utah concealed firearm permit. The permit is valid for 5 years and re-training is not required for renewal. This permit is perfect for people who travel and want to legally protect themselves and their family. All the training materials are provided and for your added convenience we provide photos and fingerprint cards. The Utah permit is recognized in 34 states, 31 states for non-residents (Colorado, Florida, Michigan, and New Hampshire has residency restrictions). Non-residents from states that have CCW permits must obtain their state's permit before applying for the Utah permit (this change in effect May 10, 2011). Illinois residents are exempt from this requirement.

NRA Basic Pistol
A pistol, or handgun, is a firearm designed to be fired while being held in one hand. While such firearms are small and compact, they can be the hardest to learn.
The NRA Basic Pistol course students will be provided the NRA's The Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook and intensive lessons in safety, gun handling, the various types of pistols, the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, various pistol firing positions, several practical exercises on the firing range, cleaning, storage, and a summary of pistol sports and activities. Course is designed “To teach the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and using a pistol safely.”
Lessons include:
1. Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
2. Ammunition Knowledge and Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
3. Firing the First Shots (includes cleaning and storage)
4. Two-handed and One-handed Standing Shooting Positions
5. Pistol Sports and Activities

Each student receives 8 hours of quality handgun instruction and range time. NRA Home Firearm Safety
The NRA Home Firearm Safety Course is the basic course it is recommend for anyone unfamiliar with guns or who needs to learn gun terminology. In this four hour course students will get the NRA's Home Firearm Safety handbook, pamphlets on safety and terminology and lessons on the rules of safe gun handling, identifying and unloading various firearms, ammunition, cleaning, and storage. Students will also get hands-on experience with the most common types of handguns, rifles and shotguns. Course is designed “To teach the basic knowledge and skills and to explain the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of guns in the home.”
There are no prerequisites for taking this course and the material can be understood by mature people of all ages. Students will receive feedback on the practical exercises and a course completion certificate.
